Three months have gone fast and have been very busy for my team in the City of Coral Gables Innovation & Technology Department (CGIT). In collaboration with our City leaders and all City departments, we have had many success stories and important milestones on our Smart City journey, including: expansion of smart district infrastructure and fiber optic corridors, applied-AI projects with citywide training and adoption, new enterprise systems, CGIT Lab R&D projects and Summer internship programs, fiscal year 2025 accomplishments, new CGIT case studies in digital media and publications, new awards and recognitions for our workforce development and STEM incubator programs, Gables TechTank news and events, presentations at smart city conferences, new engineering research collaborations, and other news.

The rest of 2025 will be equally busy and productive for our team, with many other smart city projects and milestones reaching completion and delivering continuous improvement in quality of life and digital services for our citizens.
